These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at longislandoiltankservice.com (the “Site”) operated by Long Island Oil Tank Service (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site to learn about our services, request estimates, apply for financing through our partner, and contact us. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with our servers, scraping content for commercial use, or transmitting harmful code.

Service Estimates and Quotes

Estimates provided through the Site or in writing are based on the information you provide and on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Final pricing may be adjusted if conditions discovered during the work (such as buried obstructions, hidden corrosion, soil contamination, or undisclosed prior repairs) materially change the scope. Any price adjustment will be discussed with you and authorized in writing before additional work proceeds.

Scheduling and Cancellation

We will work with you to schedule service at a mutually convenient time. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for non-emergency cancellations so that we can re-allocate the crew. Emergency leak response is always prioritized and we will respond as quickly as possible regardless of regular business hours.

Permits, Inspections, and Code Compliance

All work is performed in accordance with applicable Long Island municipal codes and New York State requirements. We file the permits, schedule inspections, and provide closure documentation as part of every job that requires it. The homeowner remains responsible for granting site access, keeping pets and minors clear of work areas, and providing utility hookups as needed.

Warranties

Manufacturer warranties (Roth, Granby Standard, Granby EcoGard) are passed through directly to you and are governed by the manufacturer’s terms. Our workmanship is warranted for the period stated on your written estimate and contract. We do not provide any warranty, express or implied, beyond what is explicitly stated in writing.

Financing

Financing options shown on the Site are provided by our third-party partner Wisetack. All financing applications, approvals, terms, and disclosures are between you and Wisetack (and its lending partners). We do not extend credit and are not a lender. Approval is subject to credit underwriting by Wisetack’s lending partners.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Long Island Oil Tank Service or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use such as printing a quote or saving a service-area map.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including Wisetack for financing and equipment manufacturers for product information. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those third-party sites. Please review their respective terms before submitting any information.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Long Island Oil Tank Service and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services.
